Born and raised in Winnipeg. I lived in West Fort Garry until i was about 11 years old, and in 2001 our family moved "across the tracks" to East Fort Garry, and until this date i still reside in this lovely area.
I have three siblings, an older brother, younger brother, and a younger sister. Small family, so we tend to spend a lot of time together. I have a nephew, and niece who are a month a part in age. Which is really neat in my opinion. My parents are blue collar workers, my father put in 35 years with the City Streets Department, but even though he's retired that hasn't stopped him from continuing to work hard for private contractors during peak seasonal periods. My mother has not only raised 4 children but she has also worked incredibly hard to get where she is now at the St. Boniface Hospital.
I've attended both the University of Manitoba, and the University of Winnipeg. At the UofW i majored in Criminal Justice. I've always had a keen interest in law enforcement and the legal system.
Before entering real estate, i spent 10 years in the retail sector. In that time, i was able to hone my skills, refine my communication and expand my qualifications in serving customers with integrity, honesty, and respect.
My interests include: I enjoy watching all sports but my favourites would have to be, Football, Hockey, and Basketball. I love to read...currently reading anything by Michael Connelly (Bosch series, or Mickey Haller series). Enjoy biking on trails when my bike, or the weather allows me. I would also call myself a movie, and tv show buff. Current favourite TV shows are: Better Call Saul, Law & Order, The Middle, and many more! I also enjoy travelling via planes, trains, or automobiles (Road Trips!). Current trip on the radar for this year is to make it out to Phoenix, Arizona to watch my favourite football team.
Well that's a bit about me, and i'm sure i have forgot some awesome things to share but if i remember anything i will be sure to update this frequently.
P.S. Some people may be wondering why real estate for a profession? Well its simple, and i mean that in a nice way, i love to help, and serve people.
Thank you so much for reading all about me, and i look forward to serving all the wonderful communities of Winnipeg.
Sincerely,
Kyle Scrimshaw
